Buttered Vidalia® Sweet Onions
8-10 large G&R Vidalia® sweet onions or 10 to 15 medium G&R Vidalia® sweet onions
½ cup water
½ stick of butter or margarine
salt and pepper to taste
Peel onions and chop (a few tender green tops may be used if very young). Cook onions in ½ cup water, ½ stock margarine, salt and pepper over medium heat about 20 to 25 minutes or until tender. Do not overcook. Yields 4 to 5 servings.
